It was probably worth the hilarity just for that moment of blissful relief.
I was secretly hoping that would happen at my work today.
(It didn't.)
go spurs go.
do it for human rights![]()
I came into work as well, though I wasn't scheduled. I will be off just in time for CP3's usual antics. You?
Racin' rats until 6.
Debating whether I should follow the game online, or record it and avoid Spurstalk for the last 4 hours.
Depends on the game. If you think the game will be worth watching, I'd record it and avoid this place. I'm torn myself which I'd advise; Hornets are hot at home and Spurs are not looking great, plus its an early game and that throws the Spurs old bones off. Then again, these Spurs seem to get up for the Hornets so it's a tough choice.
Does anyone know if they're streaming the game online? Unfortunately, I have to work today and wont be able to catch it at home. Thanks!
Shouldnt you be working at work?

I'll probably follow it from work, but I don't have the option of recording it on my home DVR, and sometimes LPBB takes a little while to archive it.
However, might be a win-win situation to avoid SpursTalk. If the Spurs play well, you'll get to watch a good game. If the Spurs lose horribly, you'll get to avoid SpursTalk during/after a loss.
That's probably what I'll do. It's just hope it picks up today, or it's going to be hard to keep myself from refreshing ST every 2 minutes.
I have to be at work at 2, so it looks like I will be recording it also.
Richard Jefferson...you are on the clock son.
I hate these afternoon games, I'm gonna miss the 1st half..meh, I'll trade missing it for a W..
2:30??? Damnitt.
any news on Bonner?
x2...anyone?
disregard...lol

Jefferson out against Hornets
By Jeff McDonald
The injury carousel keeps on turning for the Spurs heading into this afternoon's game at New Orleans
The short version: Antonio McDyess is back from neck spasms. Matt Bonner is back from a fractured hand. Richard Jefferson is out with back spasms.
The injury has been bothering Jefferson for a few days -- and helps explain his 0-for-6 performance at Memphis on Saturday -- but he apparently kept the pain to himself until recently.
"He finally owned up to it," coach Gregg Popovich said.
As such, Jefferson -- who played a full 82 games each of the past two seasons -- will miss his first game since March 6, 2007 while with the Nets. His absence will break a string of 223 consecutive starts and games played.
The Spurs briefly toyed with the notion of recalling Malik Hairston from Austin to take Jefferson's place on the active roster. Hairston, sent to the D-League on Thursday, is in New Orleans Arena today as a potential insurance policy, but Popovich has decided against activating him.
Had Hairston been active, it would have counted as his second call-up of the season. Teams are allowed to recall players only three times throughout the course of a campaign.
Instead, Popovich decided to activate Bonner, who has been out since fracturing his hand against Indiana on Dec. 19. It is uncertain whether Bonner will get in the game against the Hornets, but he will be available if Popovich needs him.
This is a big game--NO is hot right now and always gives us a run at their place. Should be a good one. GO SPURS GO

I try to be as lenient as possible. If you think I treat you poorly, you can either PM me and state your case or leave.
Thanks for being part of SpursTalk. Again, if you ever have problems, just PM me.
There's a lot of reasons to think the Spurs won't win this game. The only reason I'm optimistic is that, for better or worse, this team has been very unpredictable recently. Because of this, they should win by 10.![]()
Spurs call again on the road!!!!!!
