How about they start paying an indemnity on last year's bailout? As well as future bailouts, for that matter.

If the complaint is that bank receiving companies and AIG aren't included (therefore, picking on the banks), by all means let's include them.

Some people call that punishment. Others may consider it due responsibility.

TBTF should carry a price. It has for the taxpayer. Moreso since it was borrowed.

I thought Buffett was invested in GS and Wells...

Hey, TARP was voted down the first time. Then the establishment got what it wanted. Otherwise, we were going to die. Remember that? CNBC-NBC-GE said so. Then GE got some TARP $. Nothing to see here though. Didn't the Kremlin give GE a deal after HopeNChange put in a good word? I digress.

Still, the left and right voted down TARP. Then the Congress decided to be responsive to its cons uents.

But Warren is OK with usurious interest rates, and fees and charges jacked up ... just because they can.

    Buffet.

What I don't get is that leberals are against "trickle down economics." So why in do they believe in "trickle down bailouts?"

An ironic thing to say about a man who has already committed to donating his billions to charity upon his death.

Yes, GE received a huge contract worth billions. Coincidence, ha, I think not! Quid pro Quo.
