How could the Nets possibly want to give up Devin "Jesus Christ" Harris?
http://www.silverscreenandroll.com/2...inquired-aboutThis from ESPN's Ric Bucher on his podcast today. No further details from Ric about when this inquiry occurred or what, if anything specific, the Lakers offered to give up. No handicapping from him, either, on the odds of a deal, so just throw it on the rumor pile.
For what it's worth, a trade for Devin Harris would be pretty easy to get done under the salary cap. He makes a relatively modest $8.4 million this year and has three years (after this one) left on this contract. A combination of Adam Morrison and either Jordan Farmar or Shannon Brown would satisfy salary-matching rules and free up money for New Jersey to make their offseason free-agent push.

Devin would he money in LA...I'm hoping the Nets don't give him up for garbage. The should insist that Shannon Brown is included![]()
If they won last year with Fish and Farmar they should be able to win with Harris and Fish
Why would the Lakers trade Farmar, Brown or Morrison, they should just sign Aaron McKie for 8mil and trade him for Harris.
Farmar or Brown are the Marc Gasol and Morrison is the Kwame/Mckie. Get a ing clue.
He shot 48% as a roleplayer in Dallas. He'd be even better next to Kobe in the triangle.
They don't need him to run the team with the triangle, just shoot/drive.
IFfthis happens, then just secure the next 3 championship to LA because no one would beat them when they're healthy. Not even a trio of Lebron, Wade and Bosh in New York would touch them.
this belongs in the "Who Gives a " Forum
lol, can that even happen?
I wouldn't be mad if Harris was traded to Lakers, and I'm a Nets fan lol. If it got Lakers to win I'd be down with it
If this goes down, this would be one of the most lopsided trade ever, with the advantage going to the Nets.
The Nets would suck so bad after this trade, that they would ge the #1 pick + sign LeBron and Wade. So net net, it would be Harris for #1 pick, LeBron and Wade.
Nets win.
