You're not the only one. At this point, I'd consider a Lakers win over the Grizzlies a big win as well.
Grizz are quite legit, and if you forget that they're the Grizzlies, their starting lineup is as talented as any Starting 5.
Gotta give them credit. 15-4 since Dec 18th with wins over Denver, Phoenix(2x), Portland, Utah, San Antonio, OKC, and Orlando.
Spurs fan loves them January championships.![]()
If you knew about spurfan even this very season, you'd... ah what's the use. You just don't know . About anything.
Awwwwwwwww
The Spurs just gotta play for 48 mins....that's all. Just get a W damn it...![]()
Somehow, someway, get a win. I don't care if they win by 1 point. Just win, period. I'm feeling a big game from Hill and RJ tonight.
I am predicting a Spurs win by a comfortable margin with big contributions from Blair and Mase.
Hopefully Zbo doesn't have a field day against Jefferson and McDyess. When Timmy is sitting our front court is going to have a very small height disadvantage. They got Gasol at 7'1" and Thabeet of the bench at 7'3".
Grizz fans here in Memphis are pumped (Im here on a biz trip)
Be a good chance to watch the Spurs haven seen them as much since i moved from SA ...to Dallas
i see you thabeet and raise u 6-7 of grizzly bear ...
You're from Texas, Killa? Never would have guessed. My family moved to California like a decade ago, I miss Texas every once in awhile.
Go get some of that BBQ while you're there in Memphis.
Starters: Hill, Bogans, Jefferson, Duncan and McDyess.
Manu Ginobili works on his shooting about an hour before the game.
Bogans starting, Finley active
By Jeff McDonald
The injury to Tony Parker has created a ripple effect up and down the Spurs' active roster tonight against Memphis.
With George Hill shifting to the point in Parker's place, Keith Bogans will rejoin the starting lineup at shooting guard, coach Gregg Popovich said. Bogans has started more games at that position than anyone on the team this season -- 35 -- but had been replaced by Hill of late.
Meanwhile, with Parker on the inactive list, Michael Finley will be active and in uniform for the first time since spraining his left ankle in a Dec. 5 game against Denver. Finley missed 27 games while recovering.
Though he has been cleared to play, it is uncertain whether Finley will see the floor tonight.
oh no i would rather have mase on SG than bogans...
Interested to see how the spurs respond after a little success...maybe I am a bit over-optimistic but I see this season as right on schedule...a few struggles to force these guys to develop trust in each other...everyone else begin to write them off...Pop learning how each player responds to certain situations...
a little panic, sprinkled with a few setbacks...a few trade rumors...
rodeo trip,etc...
lets enjoy watching it all SLOWLY unfold...
never forget, despite all the naysayers:
Pop,Timmy, TP and Manu are some of the fiercest compe ors in the NBA today!
I'm just a fan...so I will be rooting hard tonight!
Let's win!
Nah brother grew up in the SF Valley ...job moved to SA got laid off moved near my folks in Dallas working for a company that has me on the road ...
Tried some good dryrub at corky's in Memphis i hear Rendevous is good too ...
But not from Tex ...I root for Cowboys because We lost both our NFL teams ...
Admired the spurs until i moved to SA ...they HATE on the lakers ...so i respect Pop, tim Manu and hate on the rest ...but i like Hill though.
Lakers were gooing to draft him early 2nd damn POP!!!
i don't see a good start with this lineup...but i hope the spurs gonna have some fight throughout the game
just wanna give ya some belated props for the vids you've done.![]()
Gross backcourt, RMJ should've started
Yeah, I don't like this starting five. I may have to rescind my original prediction.
