Does not bode well for the Mavericks either.

I really had them figured to go a lot further this postseason. Perhaps more alarming is how hot the Rockets have been playing as of late.

    Are you kidding?

This is the best thing that could've happened to them. This means they'll play Henderson more instead of one of the most consistent playoff disappointments in recent memory.

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised to suddenly find the Mavs playing better.

Screwed up his ankle on a player's shoe.

Bad for Dallas? This is a good thing! That means no more pale white artichoke playing center and passing up open shots! Get Henderson out there and activate some of our prized collection of uncoordinated bigs to throw out some fouls on the Chinese master of falling down!

Loosing a scorer like Van Horn is NOT good.

That being said, the Mavericks wont miss him a bit.

This may be a blessing in disguise not for him but for team. Horn is a great reg season player but just seems to be a little off in playoffs.

On the other hand hope he heals quickly! I met him awhile back and a very nice person.

It's bad for Houston though! Who's going to turn the ball over now on a crucial possession? Mutombo is in tears!

Nice comeback for Dallas.I really don't like the Mavs, OTOH, can't have Houston just sweep into the second round well-rested.

Thie 4-5 matchup in the West is always the best of the first round.

If Dallas wins this, this would give them some sort of confidence going to the next game. If not, it's over. Their confidence is shot like swiss cheese.

Yeah, but REALLY Dallas is a 3 seed (based on Record)

It should be Sonics vs Rockets, Mavs vs Kings.

I'm surprised more Mav fans aren't upset at them getting screwed like that.

"Does not bode well for the Mavericks either"

They said no team has ever come back to win a series after losing the first 2 games @home. Will these Mavs be the first? Rockets pulled a Spurs in 4th qtr and went stone cold, gave up 20 straight points. I expect the Rockets have gotten that out of their systems for this series. Rockets in 6 max.

I don't think KVH makes much difference. KMart ed about KVH disappearing in the Nets 02 playoffs, and KMart is an expert in that area.

, not many teams have lost a series after WINNING the first two games @home, and even fewer have done it by losing the next 4 straight!

"REALLY Dallas is a 3 seed"

And Nuggets aren't really a 7 seed, either, based on NPAK, Nuggets Peak After Karl, assuming SPAM applies, then NPAK does, too.

I don't know, if Dirk maintains his Game 3 level of play, then they probably don't need him, but in the first two games, he was actually doing a lot of the things on offense that Dirk should have been doing but wasn't... driving to the basket, drawing fouls, etc.

Of course, their defense just improved a bit more.

Tayshaun Prince just really pulled a Duncan.

He went down, and you would have thought they were going to have to amputate his leg.

Five minutes later, he's back on the court.
