Bwhahahahha
In true Nuggets-Fan fashion, he is starting the game thread early. He is disappointed that the Nuggets lost but wants to say congrats to the Lakers on the win
(any responses in this thread must be in third person. Nuggets-Fan will be most upset if this doesn't happen)
No Melo and No Kobe, what kind of game is that?![]()
Would settle some supporting cast arguments!
Damn i actually hope kobe doesnt play the next 2 games. I wanna see what Pau can do on this team being the first option since hes always in about touches.
Kobes playing.
Dunno. I just know Kobe is.
Kobe is re ed, just sit out a few games motha er hahaha never thought I would be sayin that..This team has to figure out by themselves without the guy for once. How come the nuggets can still play at a high level with Melo sitting out for some games? LA is definitely a mentally soft team if they need Kobe on the court to play at a high level.
Kobe Bryant Plays By Different Injury Rules
SportingNews
Kobe Bryant is a notoriously tough customer, playing through pain and injuries that would send most players to the sidelines for several games. Now, though, it seems his current ankle injury might be the one to send him to the bench for a game or two.
From Mike Bresnahan at Lakers Blog:
Now it might be time for Bryant to sit a game or two, a thought that crossed the mind of the Lakers’ coach.
"It occurred to me yesterday during the course of that game," Jackson said Thursday, a day after Bryant had five points on two-for-12 shooting while fighting though a sprained left ankle against the Charlotte Bobcats.
What’s interesting about this quote isn’t that Bryant might miss a few games. Plenty of stars have missed time this season with not-major injuries—it’s not exactly a sign of weakness. The striking thing is that Kobe has become so dependable that Jackson didn’t even consider holding him out of games until he saw him struggling through the game against the Bobcats. This ankle injury has been bothering Kobe for some time—he’s said that he was already tight before the game—but he’s the kind of player who only sits when he can barely function on the court.
That’s because his presence alone can change the course of a game. As Nazr Mohammed said on Twitter, Kobe demands full attention any time he steps on the court, injury or not. He plays through pain because defenses have to respect him at all times. So don’t be surprised if he plays tonight against Denver, even if he looks like a shadow of his usual self.
If Kobe sits, the Nuggets should win this one. They're going to come out firing after being blown out a few days ago by the Suns. Even without Melo, they have enough offensive firepower to win the game.
if kobe doesnt play it only gives us a chance. its in LA where we never win. and the lakers still have good players.
true..but the Lakers are known to play relaxed even more so at home..and if Kobe doesn't play then players like Ron,Pau,Odom,Bynum have to step up..if not..well you know.
Look for the Nuggets front line to get ass raped by the Laker bigs tonight.
Also, I expect Nene to pick up anywhere around 2 to a whopping, 6 rebounds for the entire game! That's just what a 6'11, 250 lb guy does best.![]()
Alright fellas. I won't be around for the game coz i have to study, but ill be recording it and catching a replay later.
I'll watch it even though the Lakers have won it already. A game without Kobe is worse coz now they will share the ball and Gasol/Bynum will dominateI'd rather Kobe play and get shut down again by AA

Lakers win tonight, we win tomorrow night...all the sudden we're tied in the loss column with the Thuggets.
Kobe is playing.

Don't ever ing doubt me again
Joey Graham vs Ron Artest. That will be interestingBoth physical guys who will knock each other around.
Now, now, let's not get y nor hasty. Last time I checked, them thuggets were 3-0 against your this season.
Oh and how could we ever forget this gem:

Nice.
That game was awesome. The Jazz can't even beat the Nuggets when Melo and Billups are in the lineup, and then that night they let a short rookie own their All star PG![]()
In all likelihood, with Melo out, the Nuggz are going to be riding a 3 game losing skid by Monday.
Melo's pacing himself too much and it's gonna cost a few wins.
It's all good. The rest of the teams in the West are pretty inconsistent, so not much ground will be lost in the HCA race.
