also, anybody see what took place in the men's marathon this a.m. ?

with about 3-4 miles to go, a fan? runs onto the course, and pulls the leader, vanderlei de lima from brazil off of the street, and holds him up for about 10-15 seconds, thus resulting in de lima losing his lead, at the time, and subsequentally the gold medal !?!?!?!?

now, the brazilizan olympic committee has pe ioned the iaaf to award de lima a gold medal, as well, which they denied, but the ioc has offered de lima the pierre de coubertin "sportsmanship" award ?

if i were de lima, i would tell them to f.o., and if it weren't for their security, or lack of, obviously, i would be wearing that gold medal ... how's that for sportsmanship !

apparently this moron (the protester) has done this b4, at a grand prix, where he was running down the middle of the track, with the cars speeding by him in excess of 200 mph, protesting his cause, and putting not only his dumb ass in jeopardy, but the drivers as well !
