he is a center and the mavs wanted him (take a look at the mavs history of centers and their earnings. you`ll understand)
magic matched the mavs offer and forced gortat to stay. otherwise he would earn his money in dallas.

"You mad."
In a dallas team his oncourt value would speak for those 6M
He is put in a really small role in Magic team.
He is good defender and can run the floor well for 7footer.
Even though it's unfair to him, there's no doubt that keeping a competent center out of the hands of a credible contender was smart management for a team hoping to get back into the finals.
magic did the western conference a favor. gortat on the mavs would be pretty scary.
Money spent to keep him out of other contender hands.
I'd take him at that price tag, an Amare-Gortat front court would be nasty.
Multiple pussies, + No Defense = Phoenix Suns Basketball
7'6" pieces of + idiot fans who know nothing about basketball = Houston Rockets basketball
PS - Gortat is a great defender, do you have frontal lobe damage you slope eyed muther er?
we knew about amare, but what the heck are you bringing steve nash into the conversation for?
gortat would bring better defense.
Now, now...DoK... no more pussies need be in phoenix![]()
If Gortat was a pussy that would make sense. The Suns actually drafted Gortat and sold his rights because he wasn't enough of a pussy to play in Phoenix.
Btw - neither Amare nor Bosh has a vagina as big and loosened up as the 7'6" piece of 's vagina.
Btw what Orlando did was re ed. They blocked Dallas with Bass and Gortat, and now have 10,000,000+ in long term contracts to two players who play scarce minutes and also two players no one wants.
I think there would most definitely be some takers for Gortat. The Mavs for one.
Good point about Gortat he'd be worth his contract as a starting center.
If Bass can't shoot 3's and isn't a Center, he won't be playing much for the Magic.
I mean if you are a center and can run well. Can jump and dunk, your salary automatically starts at 5m.
@ DoK signing into his own troll to back up his own posts...hahaha
you're killin me DoK!!![]()
I was backing up DPG's post, not mine.
Disagree. Bigs in their prime are always good trade bait. Supply and demand.
$6 million for Gortat is a steal when you consider how much more Centers of his quality are paid.
Gortat could be a starting Center on most teams.
Saying it again. Orlando is intentionally keeping him out of other teams hands while their 'window' for a le is open. They don't want a Dallas, Boston, Cavs team to end up with him.
