If im a Wizards fan, I will start a pe ion not to buy out Ilgauskas. you'd have a pile of 3 at C with Z signed and Damp back, while most of your other positions remain short of legs. Dirk doesn't wear red cloak and blue suit so he has to have a couple minutes per game spent on bench, during which you have no other muthafukin backups except the likes of Tim Thomas and Najera. If gooden is also waived then it'd be a great deal for Mavs to sign him back for LLE, at least it's a better signing than a fragile bald-head.
