    Grizzlies' Brewer tears hamstring

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Grizzlies swingman Ronnie Brewer suffered a partially torn right hamstring during Friday's game against Miami.

    The team announced Saturday that an MRI exam confirmed the injury and Brewer will be out indefinitely. A timetable for his return will be set after an evaluation next week.

    Brewer was acquired Thursday from the Utah Jazz for a protected future first-round draft pick.

    I saw that injury.

    He stole the ball and passed the half-court all by himself on a break away when all of a sudden his leg just gave out and he went tumbling to the floor.

    Brewer is awesome. That really sucks. I bet he was all depressed last night, sitting injured in a hotel room in Memphis. Ah well, hopefully this gives him time to sort out all his logistical from the trade.
