Not really. He has flashes yes, but he just can't sustain it like he used too.
Manu actually is playing like Manu again.![]()

Yes sir, yes he is, lately it's been the best we've seen Manu do in ages
So what
Argh, another silver lining thread...can't we go for the gold lining, or better yet, the platinum lining??![]()
There's no silver lining on this trip... we're still the same team we were before the trade deadline and we still produce the same out there...
Yes, he still has a quarter tank left. Hopefully he'll find his way onto a good team with decent coaching next year, he could really be a difference maker to a team in need of a talented halfcourt specialist for 20 minutes a game, I'm thinking Bobcats would be the perfect match.
Actually, the silver lining is Houston, NO, and Memphis all suck, so the Spurs can get away with this ty level of play and still probably make the postseason.
Manu isn't the problem... it's our entire team... it's awful.
So your saying if Parker gets over his injury and back to his old level, Dyess continues on his second half surge, Jefferson gets back towards a higher scoring guy and Pop plays Units that make sense, We have a 50% chance of winning each round. I'll take it.
But he will not get a contract extension because will replace him next year, so all looks bad.![]()
WE could have gone 0-8.
the rodeo was cool?
Manu is playing well, just not at the same level the team needs him to get deep into the playoffs, Manu's biggest problem is that he can't sustain his energy for an entire game. He usually has no legs by the 4th qtr. tonight he did but then no one else picked it up. And in the ot, he had no legs as usual. Damn.
Awesome...it's only February so...believe.
No, he isn't.
Yep, he should get some nice free agent offers this summer on top of the early vacation Pop's planning for the team.
I'm sure the posters at Manutalk are thrilled.
