    Lets play 5 on 5 fullcourt to say...21 points....officiated.
I'm going to roll out a squad of five Dennis Rodmans(in his prime).
I chose Rodman because he's the polar opposite of say....Amare Stoudemire who is a fairly one-dimensional player, as was Rodman.
I'll give you a team of Stoudemires. Howabout '07 Stoudemire?

Both players are relatively the same size with Amare having the edge there.

DR could rebound with anybody and could guard 4 positions.DR had some average scoring abilities but generally wasn't asked to score.

'07 Amare still had some pretty impressive athletic ability,he could score inside in a variety of ways, and his 15-20 footer had been developed.
Amare has shown the ability to defend the basket and occasionally go to the glass but has generally failed in these categories in his career thus far.

It even's out enough for a ridiculous poll.

    Who Wins?

    VS

5 Dennis Rodmans is about 70 rebounds per game right there. If the Rodmans started with the ball you can bet they will get every single rebound and win 21-0

Amare's are going to have to shoot a ridiculously high % because he prob wont get any rebounds. I'm talking like 75-85%.
    THATS PRESSURE

It would take an hour for 5 Rodmans to score 21 points however.

Rodman was a very good offensive player. He wasn't a good scorer. Not a good mix for five of himself.

The match would take 5 hours while we wait for Rodman to score 21 points.

    Amare would win.

How many people even seen Rodman play? He was lucky to make a wide open point blank layup and even if it went it, it would have looked ugly. Amare would win unless relentless hand checking and pushing was allowed.

That's where his rebounds came from.

Obviously you haven't. Rodman made point blank layups just fine.

Amare is a terrible rebounder for size/athleticism. An even worse defender. Oh boi he can dunk and finish off a Nash pass.

Rodman is one of the best defenders/rebounders of all time. Offensive rebounds > wide open dunking ability

Normally a lack of offensive skill would ruin a players chances in a game with four copies of himself as teammates. For example, five Bowens would struggle to win any games at all. However for Rodman vs. Amare, all Rodman needs to do is put a shot up, hit the rim, and one of his clones will have the rebound. Combine that with great defense and you just have to give this game to Rodman(s).

Good call you stupid , when he dropped 30 points on Tuesday against OKC, most of it was because of Nash, who was dishing him passes from his couch in Phoenix.

When he won rookie of the year and averaged 20+ points his sop re season, it was because of all the great passes Nash was throwing him from Dallas.

Dennis Rodman was about 6'7 and maybe 215. Amare might not be a legit 6'10, but he's about 6'9 and roughly around 240. That's not about the same size. Rodman was able to guard bigger players sometimes, but part of that was also the fact he played on great defensive teams. Now, you're saying all five positions have that same mismatch in height and weight? Tough mismatch having all five positions with that disadvantage.

Dennis couldn't dribble or shoot. He'd get every rebound but couldn't score. So, if you're saying he'd stop Amare from scoring and it was a timed game, maybe Dennis could win a regular 48 minute game 60-50. That's the only way he'd be able to win. All 60 points on rebound putbacks.

I'd take five Amares and that team over five Rodmans fairly easily. I don't take anything away from Dennis. I saw firsthand how great a team player and winner he was on the right team, with the right types of teammates and leadership around him. But, it's completely different if you say it's five Rodmans out there with no skilled players helping score and pass the ball and it's only five rebounding machines who take charges.

    5 Amares

If TNT is televising it Amare. I'd say the highest probability is that at the end of an hour nobody has reached 15 yet. At that point TNT steps in and says a shootoff will decide the winner because they're out of time (like they did with HORSE this year). Game, Set, Match for Amare.

Rodman had a FG of close to 60% much of his career and even though his thing was to play defense and rebound he could score when needed. That being said Amare may be a better one on one defender than given credit for - just a poor decision maker and help defender who goes for blocks. I would take Amare but it would be a close call.

Watching Rodman try to dribble as the PG would be more than hilarious.

There is NO WAY ON EARTH that Rodman is going to dribble past Amare, LOL.

The only legitimate strategy, ALL GAME LONG, hilariously is just Rodman taking a 50 foot jumpshot and have his 4 clones get ready for the rebound.

Rinse and repeat till he scores 21 lmao

5 Rodmans would have self destructed before the game started, trying to outdo the other.

Rodman was/is so overrated. His D was average, and he could barely dribble. He played on one of the best teams in history and his role consisted of tracking down MJ's misses. That's literally all he had to do. I'd hope he hustled his ass off.
