Dumbest excuse I ever heard was amnesia. His GF was out of town and he ed some . Her friends at college told her what he did while she was gone. She stormed over to his apartment and when he answered he said he did not know who she was. He had an accident 2-3 days before while playing b-ball and could not remember the past year. He never went to a doctor and never changed his story. That was 12-15 years ago. They are married and have 2 kids. To this day, he never changed his story.
That dude lives in SA and when him and his wife told me the story, I was just looking at him. Actually she tells the story, it's the only time he never talks. He just keeps a straight face.
