I will take number 2 my friend. All in.
Short and sweet:
1) Pop gives Hairston and Ian more than 25 minutes of combined PT
2) Pop gives them less than that, trots out the rotting corpses of any of BFB (Bonner, Finley, Bogans).
I will take number 2 my friend. All in.
2. Not even close.
Unless we are down 30, 2 all ing day.
This will be an interesting test because the Spurs' young, athletic players are a good matchup for this Suns team.
Does anyone know if we'll be at full strength for this game (i.e. Parker, Duncan, etc.)?
son of a ing Ian Mahinmi is inactive for today's game
Not surprising. I think Blair would've played that entire fourth quarter if he hadn't fouled out.
This likely means lots of small ball, though maybe it includes the possiblity of some Hairston PT.
Suns pick and rolling microball to death
I give up Pop, you stubborn sonuva .
Hairston comes in, but only long enough for you to out Mase on the sideline for 20 seconds, then send him back in.
Ian inactive.
Lotto here we come!
+1. Fortunately for the Spurs, the Suns are missing shots. In the meantime, I love seeing Parker and Hill defending Amare in the paint and watching Roger Mason front Lopez.
It's time for Pop to go when I look at both Dallas and Phoenix with envy. Can't play Mahinmi and Hairston but Alvin Gentry can give Lopez and Dragic heavy minutes. Good logic.
Is it possible for the same person to be the best and worst coach the Spurs have ever had?
Not until now.
