shoog - an era has changed.
You lived with many eras - what's making it different?
I know this is anther dead horse, but really, that is epically bad.
I can't even think of the last NBA starter who might have done that.
17 total points and 15 of those were in one game. 2.7 PPG.
If there was some lockdown defense going on it might make sense.
I miss Bruce.

Biggest changes are expectations. Spur fans understand what it takes to win now, and know they're not seeing it. In the 80s and 90s, there was always naive belief. Not anymore.
I'm still amazed a guy could be signed and let go by the same team 3X in a career. That has to be some sort of nba record.
Avery Johnson was signed and let go by the Spurs 4 times.

Numbers don't tell the whole story.
For example, the numbers don't describe how "The Centerpiece" physically resembles Bowen in Pop's eyes.
And he got his jersey retired.
If Orlando signs Bogans next year, look to see the Centerpiece in the Magic rafters.

It would be worse with Bruce. He can't defend anymore and he has ZERO offense left.
That sounds like Keith Bogans' whole career.
So basically he would be better than Bogans?
The Centerpiece won't allow you to mock him with bagels. For he is the Centerpiece.
The Centerpiece seems to bring his offense in intermittent humongous spurts.
