before tony went down it looked very possible the spurs will charge into that 4 or 5 seed. going to be hard to move up with him out... still think the 5 is in reach though
are still in the 7th seed. As I mentioned earlier, the Mavs will likely be 2nd or 3rd....Spurs need to plan accordingly. Not sure what Pop is thinking but holding on to that 7th seed is gonna be mighty dangerous and not a good move at all. Two available options:
1. Tank and go for 8th seed
2. Go balls out and get 5th
Best to pick one of the above and make a move...standing pat like Pop appears to be doing is very ill-advised

I said the same last year. I don't want to do with the Mavs. Even if we look like we're kicking their ass, the mojo will turn on us.
amare the only reason the spurs lsot last year in the playoffs becuase of the lack of offense
this year the spurs have kicked the mavs ass in the first game,2nd game had to take overtime for the mavs to beat the spurs and 3rd took a double digit 4th quarter comeback to win
spurs can take the mavs in 6 games even without homecourt advantage and hope that these two teams meet up
lol I'm pretty sure everyone on the Mavs wants to play the Spurs...if for nothing else they own ya'll and have absolutely no fear. I bet they could go down 0-3 in the series and still come back and beat the Spurs
