Booing means sh*t in Argentina, maybe trying to impersonate a ghost. If they want to get on his nerves they will have to try harder.
They are scared less of him
wow i love it i have never seen a spur get boo'd like that
It took booing for you to figure that out? Howabout when they're chanting bull ?
Who the do they think they are, New Yorkers?
Oh, its beautiful. Like music to my ears. I'm sure he loves it too, means he's a superstar
really, gonobili is truely feared in denver, there is no other reason to boo him. They know he is going to rule them and that they cant contain him. ..And they wish they had stole him from us during the summer, in bas s.
Until they start throwing batteries at him they've got nothing on the hostile environments he played in while in Europe.
A guy had a sign that said "Ginobili must be punished"
Oh I thought they were cheering him, "MANUUUUUUUUU MANUUUUUUUU" because his game should be modeled.
Hahaha, I love it. Spoken like a true team that has been owned.
[/de-lurk]
When was the last time a SPURS player got boo'd everytime he touches the ball.
They have no clue how to handle themselves, stupid white trash mountain hippies
lol I just love it when they are booing the crap out of him but he continues to shove it in their faces with drawing fouls and hitting shotsMANU IS THE MAN!
Being booed everytime you touch the ball is the ultimate sign of respect in a weird way.
Seriously.
It means the fans know you and know you're kicking their ass and they hate you for it.
Is Manu more hated than Kobe now in Colorado?
exactly.. good point.
i was rollin on the floor when is saw that sign.
all of a sudden hes osama or something
Only idiots use 'gay' in that way.wow, denver is gay...
that is very true
X1billion
The last three was a big "up yours" to the fans.
If Carmelo has a bad game on Wednesday, how a bout a rousing chant of "MEL-LO" sung to the tune of "BEL-FOUR"?
Good lord, no.
I hate the fans chanting BS, BS. It was stupid. I think the officiating in game three was horribly one sided in the second half, but that doesn't mean you do that in a venue where there are children watching a basketball game.
Ginobili was being booed mainly for one single play. The flop on the "elbow" by Buckner. The talk shows were filled with a lot of angry people about that play and it spilled over into their view of his overall game.
To be honest, that flop offended me. Elbows to the face are serious things. It's the type of thing someone can be ejected over. I don't think you fake that. I think it cheapens the game and though I'm a fan of Manu, I don't think it was one of his finer moments.
That said, the Nuggets fans who think that ALL he does is flop are idiots who don't know a lot about the game. He's a sensational player. Maybe he did go to the line more than he should have in game three (I certainly am among the people who think he did). That's not his fault. He's playing the game to win, not to worry about what other people think.
Boo the refs if you're pissed at them. (not scream BS at them, BOO them) Leave Manu alone.
I just hope Manu doesn't make a habit of the type of play he made against Buckner. That will certainly impact my view of him in the future.
