CS:S is about as good as it'll get IMO. Goose is supposedly working on a spiritual successor though.
They need to make Counter-Strike 2. I miss it.
Before there was the noob tube, there was the AWP.
I don't know, but I just miss everything about CS. Modern Warfare 1 replaced CS, I know, but I think it's time for CS2 to come out since people aren't happy with MW2.

Counterstrike is still the best game ever IMO. Nothing before or since combines strategy, tactics, a high degree of perception and adaptation, and quick reflexes all to mesh together. It's the decathlon of gaming. The fact that some maps were ridiculously unbalanced (cough Aztec cough) and still ishly fun to play are a testament to how good the game is.
I did enjoy the old days a ton. I remember the bunny hopping that went on with the mp5 and then everyone got depressed once they adjusted that.
Easily the greatest shooter ever made and I don't think any game effected my grades in school more than CS.
Yeah, I miss the CS days because of the era it represented for me. I was in high school, I didn't give a , I had no responsibilities. No game can ever get me hooked like CS did. I literally got at least 6-7 friends on CS in a span of a year.
Sooooooo....why cant you guys still play it? There's still tons of people that plays it and the compe ion is still there.
If there was a counter-strike 2, itll just be the same just new maps.
