I've done some D&D in my time. Wanted to get into the Clan Wars/Legend of the Five Rings game, but I could never find the sourcebooks cheap, and I've played the Marvel Super Heroes tabletop once or twice, plus a Gundam-based d10 game.
Anyone play em? I know most of us here prefer Oblivion, ME or DAO to our imaginations but apparently there's lots of people out there who still prefer this stuff.
I'm interested but haven't even had a chance to do more than sit through part of a session.

I kid, I kid.
I haven't touched a tabletop RPG since AD&D 2nd edition, mostly Birthright campaigns.
wow yall take nerdiness to another level.
i like a good Final Fantasy game from time to time, but AD&D??? krofl
Had to do something to fill the time in middle school. It was the WoW of the 90s.
I did notice that once I developed an actual life, I just didn't have the time for it anymore.
I'm absolutely a geek. I've played many thousands of hours in games in my life time, and I'm barely in my 20's. By the time I'm old, I'll probably be living in Assisted Virtual Reality.
No nerd is complete without the pocket protector.
no, i played sports when i was in school. football and basketball
im a nerd but i dont fit the stereotype and i never played table top rpgs
i had a cousin that would try to force us to play D&D with him. He'd create these elaborate worlds and dungeons and scenarios. We'd take it seriously for about 10 minutes and then get bored and screw with him and start asking if we could piss in the holy underground lake and crap.
tbh after seeing Darkon, the live action RPG stuff looks kinda fun. Massively dorky and I could never live my life around it, but it would be fun to beat the crap out of people for a weekend.
