Eh, I dunno... Too much preachy, not enough funny.
The Viagra bit was good though.
Stop lowering expectations, please. All it takes is one idea and suddenly they look brilliant and we look mean. Stop it. Remember Al Gore in the 2000 Presidential Debates.

This.
And, for whatever reason, Hitler caring about US politics isn't funny in the same way as Hitler getting riled up over video games and pop culture.
Middling praise and criticism of an admittedly marginal post. Fitting.
The tribe has spoken; this wino thanks the board for its consideration. I promise solemnly to think of others before posting such marginalia in the future.
Been there.
Keep 'em coming.
At least Esteban is still alive.![]()
Nah it was a good bit. Don't be hard on yourself. As the great Robin Williams once quipped, "just because I'm a comedian it doens't mean that everythign that comes out of my mouth is going to be funny!"
Do I need to get to the baseball cliche about the great batters who struck out more often than not?
I liked it as it was actually pretty erudite, although I must admit that watching that bit with the sound on is hard for me because I can actually understand a good chunk of the spoken German, and the dissonance between the text and the spoken words is disconcerting.
I agree.
Of course the idea of Hitler caring about US politics in 2010 is ludicrous, and not as funny as the pop culture stuff, but I still thought it was well done and chuckled.
Hey it was funny---that's all it was supposed to be![]()

While it does seem a little amateur compared to the "Spurstalk Hitler" one, I can respect the Francis Fukuyama reference and some of the other little tidbits thrown in by what is obviously some kid studying political science/IR. I give it a thumbs up for effort.
I usually love these... but this wasn't one of Hitler's bests :[
The sub les were hard to read and it was only mildly funny.
The founder of the most famous socialist party ever is a Republican?
But in all seriousness, Hitler had a good warning for Republicans:
"What's next? The Tea Party? The end?"
