My power rankings clearly had San Antonio as a superior team to the Lakers before tonight's game. Their overall rating of 105.626 versus the 105.447 of the Lakers, along with home court advantage, showed that San Antonio was the clear favorite to dominate this game.

Clearly this is a case of the game being played on the court not quite matching up with reality.

Hopefully all of the clear flaws in the game of basketball that were exposed by this anomaly will be fixed by David Stern.

JH needs to adjust his PER formulas. I suggest the considerations of injury vulnerability be added in the new version of JH's golden formulas.

When faced with a discrepancy between predictive formulas and reality, it is always reality that needs adjustment.

    I suggest LSD.

It appears the NBA listened to my argument. I'm not sure what rules they changed to make the game of basketball match up with the reality of my statistics, but I'm currently experiencing a Smug Satisfaction Rating of 99.2384, which is currently ranked #1 among ESPN basketball writers, just barely edging out Chris Sheridan and completely blowing Mark Stein out of the water.
