Based on an unknown poller, but this shouldn't be surprising. I think it stems from the humility of our key guys, and the loyalty they've shown to the organization.
"the best fans" can you be more vague? where are the pollers credentials anyway, i'd take this with a grain of salt
I mean, I know I'M awesome. Can't really vouch for the rest of you guys...
Did you actually read the article?
Note: The numbers in parentheses are the percentage of high-turnout voters who are very interested in those sports, both nationally and in the local markets.
I guess it doesn't take into account the fans in the lower seats at the AT&T.
Obviously, they have never heard of Spurstalk
Did they count the "F*ck Tim Duncan" guy?
I wonder if the poller has been on this message board. If they had, then they'd think differently.
Hahahahahaha. Judging by this message board the Spurs have the most critical, one-sided, cranky, grouchy, y, insecure, unreasonable, hot and cold fans I have ever seen. They talk about winning championships when we beat a contender and the next night talk about trading all the superstars and reloading after losing to a .500 team. In my opinion you can't even call 75% of the people who post here true fans. No faith motha as.
where are the lakers and mav fans![]()
...or a high percentage of the "fans" that post here.
the same team that cant fill out first round playoff games...lol
Really &^*&*&jng funny!
They obviously haven't been to a Spurs home game. I'm sorry, I'm a Spurs fan til I die, but the fans are always boring at AT&T, especially the lower level fans.
i always thought the same thing also...until i traveled to a few other arenas in the nba and i can say that there are some arenas that are a lot worse...
obviously when i think of good crowds i think of teams like Portland and OKC but any team that wins on a consistent basis the fans tend to get a little lazy..
Seriously guys, read the article. The le is misleading and has nothing to do with the "best" fans.
