Prior to the pre-draft camp in Chicago, Rautins worked out for the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.

Rautins shooting very well at the combine. Maybe worth another look at 49? Wasn't Matt Carroll on the Spurs roster at some point?

He shot the lights out at the combine, worth a look at 49.

I don't see the point to draft a player with that profile when there is De Colo waiting overseas.

Fair enough. How is De Colo's shot?

Nando is a very good shooter. He is about a 40% 3 point shooter in Europe (with a 3 point line closer to the basket than in NBA).

Rautins is an underrated player though. He does a lot of things well. I understand his skills are redundant given De Colo, but Rautins is here now. If you take him at 49 and he's a good player, it give you options with De Colo down the road.

I do not believe de colo will have any influence on whatever pick the spurs will have. I do however believe this pick will be euro and be stashed alongside de colo in europe.
