joke?
Ginobili has a simple request for fans at the AT&T Center. No more “MVP” chants, please.
Ginobili received the MVP treatment from the home crowd as he went to the foul line late in the fourth quarter against Orlando

so just be quiet![]()
Fabricio? Is that you?
he said it during the post game interview, go look on spurs website or the the postgame video thread of the magic game
I encourage everyone to disregard Manu's wishes.
Maybe he doesn't want people to talk badly about him for leaving, after the fans treated him so well.
Maybe he just thinks American fans are uncouth, compared to Euro fans, and he's disgusted by our behavior.
Maybe he has hopes of playing with Dwight Howard next year, and he doesn't want any hard feelings over this game.
Maybe he knows how seriously pissed the fans will be when he gets injured in summer play this season, after proving that he is still capable of playing at such a high level - when healthy.
interesting
He's just being humble. Ginobili knows he is certainly not MVP of the league and not even of the Spurs, that's Tim. Perhaps he doesn't want anyone over inflating his value to the franchise because he plans on jetting. Who knows, but I think he is just being humble.
And people think this guy may go to the Knicks.
He'd fit in NYC about as well as that guy in Midnight Cowboy.
I think he understands that coach Three First Names is ultimately a loser/excuse maker.
Naw seriously guys! Were already making to much attention by beating the cavs, celtics. Manu is in the top of his game rite now and we need to keep the it in the down low.
Ps. MVP!!!!!!
www.youtube.com/UndergroundFame
someone post the video of manu going to the line and yall watch tim duncans face when they start chanting mvp
I know I've already said this, but those fans need to be chanting, "EXT-TEN-SION, EX-TEN-SION".
manu said that
1. he doesnt deserve it
2. it makes FTs harder to shoot
http://www.nba.com/spurs/multimedia/..._ginobili.html
put this instead of the crappy OP
Manu just didn't hear all of what the fans were chanting. The chant was...
MVPof the past month because we suck without himMVPof the past month because we suck without himMVPof the past month because we suck without himMVPof the past month because we suck without him
This. Would be so much better than MVP chants.
He may also think that is a little unfair to Tim Duncan, who has had a better overall season than Manu.
Yeah, I don't think he likes it when he's shooting free throws especially...understandable.
