We'd be one game back in the loss column from the 2nd seed if we had beat the Nets...

Errr what? Second seed is currently at 50 and 27. Spurs are 46 and 29. I'm abit confused where you are getting 1 more win would have the Spurs 1 game back from 2nd seed right now.

Spurs are currently 7th seed right now. Dallas,Denver, and Utah are all tied with the record of 50-27

If we'd beaten the Nets we'd only have 28 losses.

Although then again it'd probably be as good as 2 losses back anyway because of all the tiebreakers we'd concede.

We gave away 3 games since the allstar break, @ Cle, @ ATL, @ NJ. If they had gotten atleast 2 of those wins then we would probably be playing Dal for the 2 seed in the reg season finale.

HCA would have been nice, but the Spurs would have had to win on the road at some point anyway, so it's sort of a moot point.
