Well, he's not shooting 40%, but your point is taken. They needed him to check Boykins, but I'm sure Pop told the team to inbound to Manu or Barry, and someone ed it up.

Agreed. And FT's should not be a problem with his ammount of experience.

Seriously, Tp ruled it tonight. His poor ft shooting was compensated by his good jumper tonight. He had a great game today.

Tony played great during most of regulation. But you can't be a starting PG if you're a liability offensively at the end of games.

THere is no excuse for Tony shooting FTs worse than Tim, Bowen, or Rasho (or worse than Shaq for that matter).

He's got a great stroke, good shot, the only thing left is that he's not focusing mentally on it.

Are you saying Tony Parker should not be the starting point guard of the San Antonio Spurs?

Mental focus has been his problem for a long time. But I'll let someone else say it. I'm just a "hater" when I bring it up.

You laugh, you won't when teams just say it and start fouling him at the end of games and watch him brick away.

Like I said, this is not a mechanics problem, he's just no focusing mentally.

he missed 5 and 3 of theme were just right in the hole but just did not get in...
i recall certain people saying this summer parler was at his best capacity and would not go higer than 15 points and 5.5 assist a game because he was a poor passer and not able to make the right pass/shot decisions. He really improved and next year he will keep improving. this is the sign of a star.

Who cares if they were in the hole if they ended up coming out of it without going through the net yet.

I don't hate Tony, I don't like the idea of him being on the bench in crunch time, but there's no excuse for a guard sucking ass at FT shooting like Tony is.

ginobili, I didn't forget game 4. I try to look at the bigger picture than just one game. The entire second half of this season he's been sucking at FTs down the stretch, and has done it in all the playoff games save one of them.

Dude needs to work on his mental toughness if we're gonna be counting on him in the clutch.

Ducks you're officially a moron!! JESUS!! How can you compare stamina with ft shooting!!?? Why do you have to come up with stupid answers like that!? Look I'm not going to explain to you why the above statement is stupid beyond belief, but I will say this; if you're intent in following this moronic Tony vs Manu debacle, then please BRING BETTER TAKES THAN THOSE!!! There are plenty of things you could argue in favor of Tony.
