Geez, I thought George Strait was usually a little more civil at Spurs games...
San Antonio - Not all that many people knew what happened. One minute after everybody was standing up, it was over. If going to a Spurs-Nuggets first round playoff elimination game wasn't enough, there was also a furious fourth row scuffle in section 115.
Apparently, a drunken fan delivered multiple blows to an executive usher after he was asked to leave the game. Following the initial request, a struggle ensued and the usher was stung at least twice in the face with punches from the uncooperating man, who was a white male believed to be in his 50's. Even more surprising than the fight itself was the fact that the man delivered at least one of the blows from the sticky floor of the SBC Center. The usher, who was not named, jerked back after the first floor punch and dabbed his lip in surprised disgust to find that he had, in fact, been bloodied. A younger male fan, wearing an orange shirt and baseball cap attempted to aid in curtailing the rowdy courtside watcher, but was rebuked by the usher. According to fans in close proximity to the scrum, the usher called for back up three times, but found no initial help.
However, after several more seconds of struggling, other SBC center staff ran to the scene and collectively psuedo-hogtied the kicking and screaming perpetrator while rushing him off into the Denver Nuggets tunnel where the Coyote and Silver Dancers usually enter and exit. Law enforcement officials were seen scurrying into the tunnel immediately afterwards.
While the altercation was happening, two young women were seen fleeing the isle while other fans watched or got out of the way. Refreshments were scattered throughout the rows. Other fans as far as 30 rows back stood in curiosity, trying to figure out what was happening. Even the Nuggets bench players were looking. After the game, one fan exclaimed, "This is the greatest game I've ever been to," referring to the Spurs victory with the additional bonus of sitting inches away from the excitement.
The fan is likely to be charged with assualt and disorderly conduct. He was not known to be accompanied by another party, but was sitting in some of the highest dollar seats the SBC center has to offer.
The Spurs won the game 99-89.

Well you know what they say about coke-heads.
"Cocaine is a uva drug!"
It was tommy lee jones
No wait, Nicholson needs something to do this time of year with the Lakeshow on hiatus. That's who it had to be. I can just picture Jack screaming, "Don't you know who I am?!?!?!" while he's getting hauled off.
I'm glad you guys got a good look at it. All that I saw was a ruckus going from the edge of the court into the tunnel. I had no idea what had really happened.
My guess would either be counterfeit tix or "seat improvement". What a , and a dumbass. You can bet your ass they have video of this if it was right by the tunnel.
I had much the same angle that the Nuggets bench had, but from the first row upstairs, but I couldn't tell much about what happened.
I saw that whole section stand and could see that there was some sort of struggle, but couldn't tell what was up. I did see the usher get hit both times. I had thought that maybe there were two fans going at it, but when they only hauled out the one guy (and it wasn't even a hogtie -- they basically dragged the guy out with four guys holding him at the shoulders and knees and cops galore around) I figured it must be some disorderly situation.
I also saw the guy with the orange shirt and orange hat. The authorities came and got him at one point during the 2nd quarter, which made me wonder if he hadn't been involved in some sort of fisticuffs, but it seemed odd that they would have left him sitting there if he had been. Anyway -- now the mystery is solved.
I had the satellite view of the ordeal from the nose bleeds. They had about 4-6 people drag that guy out like a roll of carpeting into the tunnel. Looked like a lot of people got showered with drinks. Play was stopped at the time, but resumed about half way through the situation.
psuedo won't count for not really?
sorry, was reading that story too fast and missed the psuedo. My bad.
I thought this had something to do with psuedofan?![]()
I saw the end of it...where the guy punched the usher in the mouth and made him bleed. He hit him pretty hard (obviously). Then I saw him get carried out. There was even a female security guard dragging his dumbass out of the seats. So much excitement in one game.![]()
Could you describe the ruckus, Sir?

Thank you for the info, it had been bothering me ALL DAY!!!
Krista saw a scuffle, called my attention to it, but I was up too far in the superbox to see exactly what happened.
^^^Probably one of the worst jokes, I have ever heard on this board.
I saw it happen. Well I saw the very end. Every one was getting up and looking at every body. It happened during a time out. We couldn't figure it out until we saw the guy punch some one. I grabbed my camera and started to take pictures. I only got two out of them. I wish I would of gotten more. I tried to get one of the cops taking the jack ass out of there but It was too blury. I think I have a picture of the guy in the orange shirt and a baseball cap talking to an usher. I am uploading the picture now.
Where did you find this story? Is there a link to it?

I think we need to change the le of this thread. More people will read it with a different le.
Why is no one talking about this? I thought It would be like the main topic on the board. Geez.
You said you got two. Where's the other one?
The woman yacking on her cell phone, seemingly oblivious to everything going on around her, is classic.
It isblurry. You really can't see much. It was suppose to be a picture of the cops taking the guy through the tunnel. We need to change this thread le to something else.

That's twice you have said that. Why?
Well it seems like some one else has changed it already. Why would you start a topic about the fight last night with not even saying there was a fight in the thread le. If it was there in the first place, this thread would already have a billion post. I was looking for a thead about it and luckily I came across it.
