there was an impromptu poll on espn a few days back about the Nuggets and if they have a better chance of winning a playoff series with or without George Karl. more respondents voted "Without" ... by a slight margin.![]()
opined Sean midway through the third quarter, even before it became a blowout.
He is so right.

goes to show only morons spend time filling in those polls
They need Karl but a therapist more ...they are like a dumber version of the 2002 Sacramento Queens ...
I agree with the idea behind Sean's comment, but not the detail.
Karl needs to go, as do 2-3 of the crazy players (JR and KMart would do the trick), and they need to get a disciplinarian in, someone like Skiles. Karl has had his time there and couldn't quite get them over the hump.
I don't know. Seems to me the whole freaking team is out of control, when Chauncey Billups is collecting a T while one of his teammates is shooting a FT. That was one of the most idiotic things I've seen in a long time. I always thought Billups was smarter than that, but he's definitely the smartest player on the Nugget's squad. They remind me a lot of that crazy-assed Portland team a few years back. All the talent in the world, but all of them with too much baggage for a commercial flight.
Yea, can never really expect a team with questionable mental toughness like he Nuggets to get to the Finals. Its been a drama filled season and there are too many players that are headcases and act like dumbasses towards the refs and as seen tonight, fail to pass the ball around when the hits the fan which means they could be lacking in trust and chemistry. Not good at this point in the season; Spurs getting a blowout win on a back to back at Denver seems like crazy odds but watching that game and the one before the All Star Weekend...not so much.
This game was Exhibit A, as to why the Nuggets shouldn't be considered a threat to dethrone the Fakers. The Spurs absolutely mind-screwed the Rich-n-Creamies. Once the snowball got rolling, there was no stopping it. That team imploded onto itself - mentally. ing at the officiating, complaining, dumb fouls, technicals. You name it, they did it. Spurs deserve a ton of credit for mentally whipping up on that group of immature children.
lol gotta love sean..
