Nice.
With Spurs win in Denver, they just set an NBA record by finishing with a winning record on the road for the 13th consecutive season

Even with all their injury problems, they are 2nd in point differential in the West behind Utah.
I think we can all be proud of our Spurs' effort this year even though they are clinging to the hope of not being an 8 seed.
I like their chances in playoffs against everyone except Utah.
Nice feather in the cap. In order to win big, you gotta win on the road, and the Spurs have been doing that for years.
Who are the other active leaders in this category?
seriously if we can win the LOB without HCA? this will be a damn greatest team who fluke to a championship
Pop always said 02/03 was a rebuilding year.
Winning NBA with Mason and Centerpiece in the rotation would be damn near miraculous.
13 x 50+ is due to Tim + Pop + RC, since all the other pieces have changed 100%.
The only teams with a current streak of at least two consecutive seasons:
Spurs: 13
Boston: 3
Lakers: 3
Orlando: 3
Cleveland: 2
Guess it will be a while before we have to worry about anybody threatening this one.
And people still debate whether this can be called a dynasty?
Remember when the Spurs started out the season 0-4 on the road? 1-5? 2-6?
Remember when the Spurs couldn't beat +.500 teams, but now they are ripping them apart and basically creating a new "best win of the season" every game?
Man, those Nets/Grizz losses in April hurt like . We'd be alone in 6th.
Lakers had record of 12 straight years. Always nice to take a record from them.![]()
thinking about that nets game gimme headache![]()
Throw in the losses to Miami, Detroit, Philadelphia, and the chokejobs in Atlanta and Cleveland (sans Lebron and Jamison), and the Spurs really only have themselves to blame for being in their current position.
Spurs won both games against Miami.
My bad. I guess I was thinking of the Orlando loss or something.
At least we can beat the Heat.
But the Nets/Grizz losses were after Spurs finally, extremely lately, SPAMly started to find their where the asses were located.
If Spurs beat Minn tonight, they will win at Dallas if they need to win for 8 seed.....bet on it.
not to mention the Philly/Detroit losses of the RRT. Wish we had those games back too. We could be in contention for the 2 seed.
I fear the lakers more than Utah. Utah is still as dumb as a box of rocks.
Still more inteligent then you
