phoenix would be a bad matchup for us imo. they would take years of frustration out on us.

"I want the San Antonio Spurs.
The regular season is winding down and the Suns are battling for playoff positioning and, while we are still unsure of who the team will play, I know for a fact that I want it to be the team that wears black and silver."

This guy thinks this is the year Phoenix could finally get the silver and black monkey off their back...I say no.

If we don't have Hill, I'd be worried. This guy overstates the loss of Bowen IMO. If we sic Hill on Nash, we can let Amare average 50 a game and win in 5 like usual.
Who cares what a Suns' homer thinks?
The wailings from the desert get more and more pathetic every year. It used to be fun. Now it's just sad.
No matter how bad we play against them in the regular season, they WILL NOT beat us in the post-season.
Bruce Bowen played defense on Steve Nash like no other. Definitely the Spurs miss that and it is precisely Nash's ability to abuse the other Spurs that makes the Suns very dangerous.
That said, we have a much deeper bench than the people he named. Lots of scrubs on that Suns bench that he is overvaluing and he forgot to note that George Hill is one the Spurs. I think the Spurs beat the Suns because the Spurs play playoff basketball and the Suns don't play enough defense.
Obviously this guy doesn't know anything about the Spurs...no mention of The Centerpiece
lol @ this guy and anyone who thinks the Suns would win in a series if we had Hill back, especially if they don't have Lopez
Appropriate fear..
Everyone wants the Spurs dummy....Spurs are good but probably the easiest team to beat![]()
Thought so. This was written before PHO dropped into the bottom half of the playoff draw. Dude needs to slow his roll and worry about the 4 seed and the LAKERS, first.
I remember Suns fans wanting the Spurs in 08 too. oops
What a stupid thing to say.
Be careful what you wish for...![]()
The Spurs OWN the Suns in the playoffs. Be careful what you wish for, Mr. Green.![]()
Did they just list a load of bench players with little experience also?
Also forgot to add RJ has found his feet, Dice is stepping up, Hill is a great defender and could do a job on Nash.
Then there’s Centrepiece who is a defence machine……….apparently (lol maybe not so much)
Also there number 1 offense is Nash to Stoudemire pick and roll, I’m sure Pop will have an answer to that come playoff’s.
In the big games of late Pop has been stepping up moves to eliminate players and plays, a very good sign for us.
Probably less homework was done vs teams like Nets and Grizz however.
Why do the Suns want to add to the pain?
LOL
Maverick playoff record 68-80. Zero rings. (1 of 3 no. 1 seeds to lose to an 8 seed)
Suns playoff record 120-132. Zero rings.
Spur playoff record 154-125. 4 rings.
Maverick fan has very little room to talk.
Some people never learn...
History was made. They are the first to lose in the new 7 game format, which by the way, was designed so that there would be no fluke wins by the lower seed. So they can say they are the first and #1. Damn, 63 win season and home court advantage went to the toilet.![]()
