Blair busting a nut all over Dalls "scary center pair" Haywood + Dampier![]()
I don't really care about the outcome of the game. What I do like is seeing that Blair can score and rebound all over the Dallas front court.
Blair is going to get 20 and 20 tonight.
Hopefully blair continues to abuse them in the playoffs and gets minutes.

He'll be lucky to see any playing time during the playoffs.
But you will see plenty of Bonner though!!....
!
It wasn't like Blair was beasting all over the Mavs reserves. He was putting up this stat line on the Mavs top frontcourt rotation players. Pop would be a damn fool if he relegates Blair to the bench for the playoffs.

Thats my question, is Pop going to give playing time to a rookie? We saw what he did to Hill last year in the playoffs. Is he going to do the same thing this year with Blair? We saw what he can do tonight, but we've also seen him not play so well through out the season as well. Whats you alls take on this?
13/18/6 combined
Blair has earned himself some play-off minutes against the Mavs. I'm sure pop has learned by now.
Blair is even better than I realized, though this game isn't really a good game to draw many conclusions from. Here are mine:
1. Bogans, Bonner, and Mason are just awful. Pop shouldn't give them any minutes whatsoever.
2. I'm really confident that Caron will win the match up against Jefferson.
3. Our rookie needs to play way more minutes. Course we've known this for a whole season now.
Yeah, but how many threes did he make?
Too Bad Bad Blair didn't have any help out there from some of the regular suspects. He damn near won the game by himself.
You forgot the combined 3 assists and 0 steals? Blair had 4 assists and 3 steals.
Points:
Blair: 27, Damp-Hay: 13
Rebounds:
Blair: 23, Damp-Hay: 18
Assists:
Blair: 4, Damp-Hay: 3
Steals:
Blair: 3, Damp-Hay: 0
Blocks:
Blair: 0, Damp-Hay: 6
Minutes:
Blair: 36:41, Damp-Hay: 45:39

so...whos the last rookie that has two or more 20-20 games?
Blair must have read my thread. I think I pissed him off.
GLAD I DID IT!!!

and that 27 pts comes with him being the only scorer on the team, yet they WOULD NOT ISOLATE HIM WHEN WE NEEDED BUCKETS. they did this against oklahoma too. pisses me off that they dont trust him. yes hes going to up. hes a rookie. let him learn.
Blair had a great game but he didnt take the Mavs frontcourt out of the game.
Well and some shots, he wont make them again
And im still pissed why Cuban didnt buy a early 2nd round pick.
the Spurs will probably find a way to list Blair as a "center" so that Duncan can remain a "PF"...he hasnt been a PF since Robinson left, and he really wasnt a PF even then
Besides the fact that Manu was missing during last year's 1st round series loss, was that the Spurs didnt have a "rugged" or "tough" inside post player to go along side Timmy. If I remember correctly our front-court rotation was TD, Kurt Thomas, Gooden, and Bonner. Now while Gooden and KT were some decent players, they dont bring anywhere near the energy and hustle on the glass that Blair brings this time around...I'll take TD, Dyess, Blair, and Bonner this year over last years front-court that we went into battle with...
Problem here that Haywood >>> Hollins and Najeras experience and defense > Bass
“I knew Tim and Manu weren’t going to play so I knew I had to step up and play with confidence,” Blair said. “They got the rest and we got a feel for (the Mavericks).”
last year's Spurs team was the SW division champ and #3 seed. This year's Spurs team is the #7 seed...
while this season's Mavs team is much better than last season's

Yeah, but you're the SW Division champs. The last three years, the SWC has fallen in the first round (twice, you in 2007and us in 2009) and once in the second round (NOH in 2008, to us). Doesn't look good for the boys in blue.
looks like he wont even make top5 voting for the ROY award...fkn lame how its a popularity contest with that award, and usually to scrub teams with a turnaround season or guys just posting up big numbers on a scrub team
Well I hope you're ready to be disappointed.![]()
