it took the mavettes a good 1-2 quarters to catch on that the spurs don't give a . i was surprised they were actually trying early on.
the mavs aren't trying right now, obviously. when dirk takes a weird ass hook shot like that, it's obvious he's not trying.
he was trying earlier on though, like 1st quarter/maybe a bit into the second.
the main tell that he's not trying is the fact that he has no free throws, but he's not trying to get them.

Lets forget this game. Spurs didnt play their stars and Mavs played flat and crappy. Wont happen again from both sides.
