I was wondering, anyone know why Sean Elliott isnt doing color commentary for ESPN? I thought he did a good job and it was always nice to hear Sean on National TV.

I believe it had to do with Sean not wanting to do the constant travelling required of him at ESPN.

I thought it had to do with ESPN choosing not to renew his contract. But I really don't know.

Sean said he got sick of the travel and had more fun doing the local broadcasts.

I was under the understanding that Sean decided to stay home.

I heard they offered Sean a seat on their #1 NBA team and a slew of money and he turned it down, as other said, to stay in SA and do the Fox Sports broadcasts. I think I heard that from Don Harris but I am not 100% certain.

I see no reason to believe that they wouldn't renew the contract considering the talent they have now or lack of talent. Conneticut is to far from SA and i can understand from a family aspect why he wouldn't continue there.
