34 Free throw attempts to 14 Free Throw Attempts for the Spurs. wtf is Pop doing putting Mason out there. He is more ineffective than anyone in the building. Bogans is severely undermatched when put against Nowitzki. Oh and Nowitzki must have some basketball God looking over him. The shots he takes, and ultimately makes are just incredible. Manu and the rest of the team looked a bit lost out there at lapses. Although they scrapped and stayed in the game, it's going to take a more focused and cohesive effort to win.

actually it's 26 free throw attempts to 14 free throw attempts to be fair, which is still lopsided.

Remember we did hack-a-damp and sent him to the line for 8 free throws, so that was intentional fouling.

oh, the 14 free throw attempts is kind of deceptive. a lot of those attempts came during "garbage time" when it was obvious that the mavs had already won the game.

ginobili was absolutely hammered on a play earlier..and...no call. timing of free throws matters.

Cool story brah, why didn't this go in one of 15 threads already started.

The reason we lost is because we didn't score more than the Mavericks...

Yep like others have said. Hack-a-damp did have a pretty big effect on the free throw deficit.

The reason is simply the outrageous reality that comes with it. The Spurs had every right to lost, but they could have won if it were for wiser game play decisions and a couple of really bad questionable calls.

This series is looking a lot like the 7 game series the refs gave to the mavs

Even if we wouldn't have pulled Hack-a-damp, the Mavs would have still ac ulated more free throws, and a discrepancy would be still evident.
