This was random..As I was driving over to pick up some wings I just thought I'd turn off my music and tune in to see what the local sports radio stations are saying here in dallas. One radio host called pop "stubborn" because he has no idea why he is not doubling dirk, what they did last year. He said the way you beat the mavs is double dirk and let the outside shooters take 3s...he also said that dirk basically whooped pops "butt" and left german skidmarks all over him.hahahahha......pretty funny. He said if pop does not double dirk, the spurs will get swept..they need gino to score 35+ and to double dirk.

If dirk is shooting like that then you definitely need to double dirk.. and make the others beat you... No way He shoots 12/14 again though. Wont happen.
As for Manu..He definitely needs to step up more and be the man late in the game. He really didn't do much in the 4th.. Except make some big turnovers late in the game.

Yeah, leaving the Mavs wide open for threes worked so well last year.
If we gaurd him 1 on 1 with the worst defender on the team... I wouldn't be surprised if he shot 80% for the series.
I never saw mason gaurding him?
Regardless..if we single coverage him..hes still gonna go atleast 12-25, or so..the LEAST...we have to double dirk..no choice..who else do we put on him?? we know the duncan/blair combo on the floor at the same time doesnt spread the floor well..not a good combo....if we can't stop dirk..its over. we have to double...
I'd rather see dirk drain 2's all day than see Terry and Kidd drain 3's.
