I thought this kid wouldn't amount to in the NBA and honestly didn't see why Chicago was making such a fuss about him when they drafted him.

His strengths may not show up on the stat sheet, but the kid has all the intangibles you could ask from from a player. He's a huge reason Chicago is even keeping these games remotely close.

He's been excellent since his rookie season. For some reason, players like him, Varejao and Bogut have been hugely underrated in terms of public recognition in recent years.

Ya, Noah has been good for a minute now, I guess he needed a big name playoff series like last year to get attention..

He gets pushed around in the post defensively due to his small frame and he doesn't have a much of a post game, but other than that, he's shown a lot of good things..

Put me down on that list of people that is eating crow about him.

I always loved Bogut though, picked his Utah team to go the final four, and I thought he got a bit of an unfair rep in Milwaukee, especially given the chuckers like Mo Williams and Reed he had to play with. Glad he finally broke out.

Yeah, agree completely, I thought he was gonna bust too, and I'm eating my words now. And agreed completely about underrating these times of players as well, I'm hoping Splitter turns out to have this kind of impact when/if he comes over.

Splitter doesn't have the motor, the work rate, the energy, the rebounding, the defensive prowess that make guys like Noah special.

i NEVER thought he was a bust ...but like Verejao (but i think Noah is better) what they bring is wasted on a crap team. they need to be on a winner for their intagibles to matter...

i confess i didnt think he would be THIS good but he killed my bruis too straight years i knew he was a great leader

Count me in on this one. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong about what he'd be able to contribute in the league. The scary thing is, he keeps improving and adding to his game. If Anderson cashed out with the Cavs, you KNOW Noah's going to break with bank with the Bulls....even though they don't like paying guys.

I've wanted Tyrus Thomas for the last year and a half now and was shocked to find out we had a shot at him during before the deadline. I guess we'll have to look at Bosh....hopefully he'll take less to win more.

I thought Corey Brewer would be the best player from that Florida class.

    FAIL.

    Horford/Noah >>> Brewer

Brewer is becoming a very high-level role-player. I liked Brewer's development this season.

Brewer is a good-to-very good defender, very good rebounder, good ball-handler... once he solidifies his jumper he'll be one of the best role-players in the league.

Still a role player. Noah and Horford are not role players.

Yes they are. Doesn't mean they aren't good players though.

Noah reminds me of a more athletic Bill Laimbeer (doesn't have the baseline jumper Laimbeer had though); he performs the same role for the Bulls that Laimbeer did and gets underneath the skin of opposing players in the same way that he did. Provides a measure of toughness that the Bulls need in the frontcourt.
