I Don't Have Mark Cuban, I Hate Donald Sterling

On KSAT they kept saying how Spurs fans hate Mark Cuban. I don't hate Mark Cuban, I hate Donald Sterling. Here is a guy that has owned a team for almost thirty years and hasn't done with them. This team has probably gotten more top ten draft picks and more number one draft picks than anyone in the league, and what do they have to show for it?

Nothing. So I hate Donald Sterling.

As far as hating Cuban goes, the guy is just artificially inflating a rivalry to generate interest and ticket sales. If you think he's that much of a (which he is, but no moreso than any other businessman), don't buy into it.

Donald Sterling is a good candidate for hate. Clippers failure is like a stench that gets into the fabric of good players, so that even when time or money pry a gifted prospect away from the Clippers, the stench goes with them. Noone recovers from a stretch with the Clippers.

Picking up players from the Clippers roster is as good an idea as picking up abandoned furniture from the side of the road.

Anyone see Baron Davis play these last two years? Depressing.

There is no reason to hate Mark Cuban as there are no rings for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place. You either win it all or you don't. We should only hate teams like the Lakers, Celtics, Pistons, and Bulls. The Mavericks have not done enough to earn our hate. In fact they are so pitiful we should give them a noogie.

Cuban just spends money and expects results. Nothing wrong with that. He completely revived the Mavs franchise. Good for him. Without him, there wouldn't be a Spurs/Mavs rivalry.

Sure, he's an asshole. But so am I, I don't hold that against him.

Cnnsi.com reported today that the Clippers, who fired Dunleavy as GM back in March, are now refusing to pay Dunleavy the remaining $7 mill on his contract, which would have run through next season.
