Really? I supposed this strategy to be the worst one...
..that the best defense on Dirk is to back off a step and let him face up. He seems to shoot about 40-45% in those cases. If you play him close, and let him back you down and twist around and fade away, he gets a LOT of foul calls and seems to shoot 55-60%.

Sounds like a horrible idea.
I think you need to front him. If you let him shoot that fadeaway, he's a 55 or 60% shooter. Make him work a little harder for those baskets.

seriously the biggest difference is that he isn't getting the calls, there's some today that were whistles in game 1
My grandpa smoked more than a pack a day from the time he was a late teen. He is over 75 now and he smokes continuously (about 2 packs a day of strong cigs), but has no sign lung cancer and doesnt have any coughing problems or anything like that. Im convinced that the way to prevent lung cancer is to do as he did.
I've actually noticed it over time. He gets WAY less foul calls when he faces up, too.
I called the adjustment was going to happen today regarding the BS calls Dirk was getting. This game has been pretty fairly called so far. So far.
