Why? It's the Heat. Who cares if he stays?

The Bulls are in a better city with a better fan-base and tradition, there are more pieces in place than in Miami and he's from there. To me it's a no-brainer.

Didn't the Projected cap give the Heat enough room to re-sign him and add another max player?

I think Riles has got something up his sleeve and the entire Heat organization. One look at their next-season ticket promo on t.v. you hear about how they are positioning themselves for a "dynasty" run. Anyone see this commercial on NBATV?

I don't know. I still think he's staying. D-wade is a fantastic nucleus to build around.

The Heat are going to re-sign Wade, then sign Bosh, and then have $10 million more to spend on a point guard or a center.

Wade stays in Miami, Lebron to NY, Bosh to NY, David Lee to Miami.

Edit: If Lebron does stay in Cleveland, then it's Bosh to Miami and New York in a meltdown.

The Black Manu! We would need two basketballs per posession, but sure.

Exactly the reason why Wade isn't going to go to Chicago.

The higher-than-expected salary cap effectively means that the Heat have the most control over free agency this offseason, what with all the capspace they have.

Any FA signings will probably boil down to having Wade and those FAs in the same room signing at the same time, though. No FA will want to sign unless Wade is signed, and Wade probably won't sign unless some prime FAs have already signed with the Heat.

I don't see Wade turning down a max contract. He already has his ring. He is looking to cash in on a long term deal. The capspace is just the icing on the cake.

I do think either LeBron or Wade will go to the Nets.

Wade to Chicago does make sense on a few levels. But I think it would require either Bosh or Amare also going to Chicago for the Bulls to convince Wade to go. There are potential problems with dominating the ball between Wade and Rose, but I think the potential to be a great team if they were able to also add Bosh or Amare might override any hesitations from that possible problem.

He only made the Heat a 55 win team once.
