noticed the Lakers seem much older and slower than usual...they have a STACKED starting 5 but thier bench other than scrOdom is ing USELESS...

the young Thunder have infinite energy and the lakers have no answer for it.
i dont think LA can repeat having as thin a lineup as they do now. their bench is absolutely horrible

stacked startin 5, theres no need to play all 5 at once, have 2 come of the bench or some ...maybe lamar odom come of the bench with bynum, then both can ball hog against the scrubs

Lakers have 3 very good players in Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum, one above average player in Odom, and basically below average players everywhere else.

That's why Odom is used off the bench when Bynum is healthy IMO. Lakers have 2 superb players in Kobe&Pau who have a pair of quality assistants in Artest and Odom. Bynum is greater than an assistant when he's healthy, but you can't count on him as Pau or Kobe due to his injury vulnerability. Besides these 5, Derek Fishes also plays expectedly well this season and shows little sign of aging, and functions fairly well as the starting PG. Apart from these 6 dude, all the rest are nothing bigger than dip s TBF to them all.

Don't want to criticize a fellow Spurs fan but SA is playing a 7-man rotation right now. We have no room to talk about roster depth.

+1. Bonner-Blair-Bogans-Mason have to step up because the main guys will be tired in future series if we get that far.

that's exactly the way he works. He only plays one good game in every 4-5 games, which resembles Jason Terry. The only difference is Phil doesn't use him too much when he sucks while Jason Terry always gets the giant minutes despite whether he sucks or not.
