    Jennings is a way better game manager than Iverson. Delfino is one of the most underpaid role-players in the NBA.

    Josh Smith isn't reliable as a tertiary scoring option; Crawford isn't reliable as the secondary scorer: meaning the Hawks have excellent 1st option and 3r option but lack the rest - that and all their switching defensively + bigs coasting defensively + overreliance on JJ isolations to create shots dooms the Hawks as le contenders. They're contenders and a quality team that should compete with anybody, but outside contenders. They're still one piece away from being serious contenders.

    I don't think Joe Johnson is an excelent 1st option.

    It all comes down to coaching imho. Horford should be getting more touches down low, their should be more movement on the offensive end. Marvin Williams should have more plays run for him. Thats why we suck on the road, we win ballgames at home mainly because we get into our transition game. Thats when we play our best basketball on the fastbreak. But on the road, the defense is usually much tougher. And our away games usually just become bricked jumpers, turnovers, and failed Isolation plays...

    Nothing to see here, does anybody actually label the Hawks as serious contenders?..Bucks are shooting almost 60% & are without their best player. Orl will toy with Atl if they get past the Deer.

    The Hawks led the NBA in isolation plays IIRC, especially the Joe Johnson iso..

    I don't mind them as a team, but not a big fan of their style of play..Mike Woodson is a clueless coach IMO..
