Before that, there was Sam Bowie being drafted ahead of Michael Jordan. The Blazers aren't only unlucky, they have the worst FO in the entire league. Their FO has been ty since the 80s.

In terms of mental strength and really carrying a team there is no comparision. Joe johnson has to have one of the pussyiest mentalities in the game. Superstar talent, scrub mentality. Roy on the other hand is the real deal: kobe like composure and mental strength plus superstar talent.
Furthermore, 50 win with that roster and atl won just three more games with a really stacked roster.
