"He just lunged at us. I took my daughter and I threw her up on the hood of a parked car. The dog kept jumping up at her and he grabbed her foot and pulled her from the car to the ground. She hit her head on the street. I jumped down to try to get her away from him," he said.
"Both her feet were cut and she had a bump on her head....He ripped my leg right open."
