She's lucky she didn't get picked off by a sniper. Too bad under the new law she's getting a misdemeanor on her record (yea, no citizenship but she gets a criminal record!) and can no longer apply for legal citizenship like she could under the old law when they'd just ship her back to whatever piece of country she's from.
