    We all started seeing the weird kind of Round 1 playoff schedules right? That some teams like the Lakers were getting 2 days of rest between games while other Round 1 matchups had only 1 day of rest inbetween games.

    Well, get ready to puke.

    Look at the round 2 schedules. It's so ing obvious Stern is a piece of who intentionally runs the NBA like the WWE <--- props to BRHornet.

    Spurs - Suns Round 2
    Game 1 ---> Game 2 = 1 day of rest
    Game 2 ---> Game 3 = 1 day of rest
    Game 3 ---> Game 4 = 1 day of rest
    Game 4 ---> Game 5 = 1 day of rest
    Game 5 ---> Game 6 = 1 day of rest
    Game 6 ---> Game 7 = FINALLY 2 days of rest

    now look at the Lakers and Boston/Cavalier schedules

    Lakers - Jazz round 2 schedule

    Game 1 ---> Game 2 = 1 day of rest
    Game 2 ---> Game 3 = 3 days of rest <--- WTF>!!??
    Game 3 ---> Game 4 = 1 day of rest
    Game 4 ---> Game 5 = 1 day of rest
    Game 5 ---> Game 6 = 1 day of rest
    Game 6 ---> Game 7 = 2 days of rest

    Celtics - Cavaliers round 2 schedule

    Game 1 ---> Game 2 = 1 day of rest
    Game 2 ---> Game 3 = 3 days of rest <--- WTF>!!??
    Game 3 ---> Game 4 = 1 day of rest
    Game 4 ---> Game 5 = 1 day of rest
    Game 5 ---> Game 6 = 1 day of rest
    Game 6 ---> Game 7 = 2 days of rest

    exactly like the Lakers schedule.

    Spurs-Sun get 2 less days of rest in total than the Lakers and Cavaliers/Celtics do.

    ing bull trying to give them old legs rest and time to prepare. That's horse . The tactic here is to run the Spurs and the Suns into the ground, making them easier to defeat when they face the teams Stern has chosen.

    you NBA/WWE. I only watch cause I love basketball, but if there was an alternative..... I'd be watching.

    Three days off is pretty lame... but the Spurs/Suns did have a longer layoff between rounds than the Lakers did.

    That was to give the Spurs/Suns time to mate. And you've done so splendidly.

    Wow... you went to all that work to show that 4 out of 6 teams get 3 a day break? I guess obsessions do that to a person.

    Funny how you left out that the Spurs and Suns get a 3 day break before their series even starts even though they both finished before the other teams. Then again, obsessions are like that too. Why tell the whole story?

    WTF are you talking about? You think the nation would rather see the Spurs/Suns on ABC over the Lakers/Jazz? The entire Jazz/Lakers series is scheduled around TV dates to get the Lakers on ABC as much as possible. Same with the Cavs.

    lakers also got EXTRA days off in the OKC series to help the older lakers stave off the young OKC studs...

    while the spurs/mavs played every other day...

    It has to do with prime time and having opportunities to show the largest market games when the largest audience is available.

    Lakers also started their series against OKC before the Spurs did against the Mavs, but do to a larger audience being able to watch on Sunday, it actually hurt the Lakers, since they are getting less rest between series.

    It is clear right now LA needs the rest, as they look more tired than any team in the playoffs, so this post doesn't really make sense.

    Sure I hate the fact that the Spurs won't have more rest, but oh well, it will come down to execution, if the Spurs are worthy to move on, they will.

    Yeah...the NBA is rigged...that's why a small-market team from San Antonio, who plays a fundamentally sound, defense-oriented, "boring" brand of basketball won four les in nine seasons...yeah, it was all rigged...
