Any idea why the Lakers/Jazz started before the Spurs/Suns even though both Lakers and Jazz wrapped up their series after Spurs and Suns first rounders? Sunday ratings?

I like the Spurs having the extra day but then looking forward, the Lakes could have extra rest for the Spurs.

It's all about National TV ratings. Lakers draw, sadly the Spurs don't.

That's the answer. ABC was going to have a doubleheader on Sunday that would be made of Game 7s and/or Game 1s depending on how everything played out. If Gasol didn't tip-in that shot then we would have seen Game 7 of the LA-OKC series in that time slot.
