my piece of trash neighbors turned their ing pitbull out yesterday and he mauled my rooster right on my doorstep then ran home with him...I ran down there and took him away from him...I am not posting pictures of what he looks like now but it is definitely not pretty...lucky for that damn dog he didn't go for me...I was ready and willing to kill him...

Pit Bulls can be extremely dangerous...Their jaws with can crunch bones with ease...Your bare hands are no match for a pit bull...Since this pooch may now enjoy the taste of blood, count on him to return for more...No since getting riled up or going off half/ ed...Spend a couple hundred dollars to protect your critters, puppies etc & trap the fearless pooch....
I doubt that any neighbor who owns & lets a pit bull wonder around will be open to a reasonable discussion...But that is just me...

CC- I have played this Pit bull game...They are smart...Plus You don’t want your own dogs getting mauled fighting this stupid thing...You could bait & trap that critter & be done with it...
Why don't you just shoot him with a pump shottie right to the face, and end of story...

I wouldn’t know.... But I have heard...(from forum posts)... that roast turkey...works very well & dogs like the seasoning in Kentucky Fried Chicken...
Once they are in the cage simply drive then to a humane society in another county...Animal Control Workers are not fond of Pit Bulls either...(Or so I have read)....Problem Solved...

Take their dog. Shoot it. Cut off a leg and throw it in your other neighbor's yard. Make sure your other neighbor has a dog too.

i think you need to read the article about the cat owner who received 45k for the loss of her cat. roosters can be used for breeding. you could sue for the cost of the rooster plus all the breeding he would have done, etc.. plus, your emotional distress!
yeah...that was Seattle though...down here it Texas they just expect you to shoot the dog...in fact the law allows it in this case where it was maurading on livestock...
