I could see Bosh going to Houston.
Mavs got a few more years of prime Dirk and Roddy. Also the Dust chip to hopefully get some help. But we also have Kidd and Terry. so
spurs are probably ed
It used to be that teams would be on a roadtrip and have to play all 3 Texas teams on the same roadtrip, which would usually be an 0-3 set of games. Now, everyone just s on us. So, Mavfans, Spurfans, and Rox fans, what does your team have to do this offseason to be taken as legitimate contenders?
I would say,
Mavs - If i remember correctly, I think that they picked up JJB's option? But anyway, all they really have to do is get Beaubois more playing time, basically all of Barea's playing time. Joe Johnson wouldn't be a bad get for them either, but he seems to be mentally weak in the playoffs. Dampier should be a nice trade chip. Seems like multiple options to explore, of course all that goes to if Dirk bolts, but seems highly unlikely since the dude is loyal as
Spurs - Obviously that window is closed right now, and doesn't look like it will open back up, UNLESS, they make a big run at a FA, which they don't have the cap space to do. So I guess the next best thing would be to get rid of the black hole know as Richard Jefferson.
Rockets - Ask the basketball gods for forgiveness for letting Hakeem go to Toronto, and break that curse. Somehow get Bosh, and/or draft Greg Monroe or Hassan Whiteside
I could see Bosh going to Houston.

its ing broken
right now the san antonio silver stars are looking like the best texas basketball team right now
Spurs have a better chance of missing the playoffs than winning 60 next season.
If the Rockets stay healthy they will be the better Texas team. If Mavs make the right moves with Damps contract and trade Barea in the process they will still have a chance. The Spurs are unlikely to contend and will be the worst of the 3.

The knee jerk reactions to Kidd's playoff performance are ridiculous. The guy was a warrior all year and was excellent up until the playoffs. Gives this team some toughness and wherewithal. Kidd is a fine starting PG, the Mavs just need to add some talent/scoring/defense to try and mask some of his weaknesses. He is an excellent role player.
If the Lakers can succeed with Fisher at the point, then I don't mind Kidd.
Anyway, Mavs future depends on the DUST chip and Beaubois. It takes a superstar to succeed and Dirk is still playing at a level such that he can be considered a top 10 player. Duncan/Yao aren't really anymore... if rockets can get a guy like... idk, Bosh? Then it'll get interesting.
Spurs decline seems unstoppable. Duncan and Manu will be what, 35 and 33 come playoff time next year? They can try to upgrade the role players but the pillar of their foundation Duncan is crumbling.
Spurs need to find the fountain of youth & bring back bowen hahaa. They made it too comfortable for the suns, no hard fouls or anything to intimidate them. They basically set out a red carpet for Nash to stroll into the lane. Houston needs to pray Yao stays healthy & maybe pick up another big. Mavs need the opposite of a jumpshooter lmao
Just wait and see, if you want we can make a bet.
The Lakers have KOBE. You are truly an idiot at times...go make a youtube video dummy

You dont need a legit PG in the triangle. All Fisher has to do is make his wide open three's haha
He's gonna be a Hornet![]()
We're going to give it another shot with our core of Big 3. Hopefully we can bring some role players that can spare some time for Tim and Manu during the regular season, and Tony can stay healthy too. Basically, our bench core of Bogans, Bonner, Mason and Blair was exposed. Blair is a rook, so he just needs to develop. Dice actually showed up for the playoffs, so I can't complain either.
The big elephant in the room is RJ and his contract. If we find somebody to take his expiring, we might have some wiggle room, otherwise, we'll be somewhat limited.
lol changing your pic and headline to things reminding everyone of Manus rings the day of elimination and 2-11. True manufan right here.
Thank you for the common sense response but no need to argue with Ghazi...he is a pedar sag who likes to play with his little weenie while making youtube videos

sons don't overreact ... San Antonio will be an elite playoff team every year, Houston will be solid, and Dallas will continue to be a joke as usual.
I didn't know Manu had 4 rings, I guess I'm not that good of a fan
P/S: I chose that Avatar 'cause I was too lazy to make one and that's the only custom ST avatar that has an NBA trophy.
Also: lol no rings.
And New Orleans will continue to pray on ping pong balls.
irrelevant that the lakers have kobe. point is, kidd can still be the starting PG on a championship caliber team with the right pieces around him. maybe just not as the primary ball handler + mavs need slashing from the 2 guard position
The Rockets have reason for optimism, it's mostly in front of them.
The other two sides of the TT are pedestrian.
All the Southwest teams except San Antonio will make the playoffs next year.
Yeah, like Iverson.
The Spurs will be in the playoffs next season....Hill will be better and so will Blair. They will probably pick up a player or two during the offseason.
And you will wiping Collison's and Thornton's ass for years to come. Don't forget to carry Purell with you![]()
I will give Collison props, but he is no me. He played on a ty team and got a lot more minutes, but never hit 40. lol collison.
