Well, there's a lot to choose from. I hear this phone called "iPhone" is pretty popular too.

looking for a phone that can be used worldwide, a gsm phone. a.k.a. it can't be sprint or any phone that does not use a sim card.
a touch screen would be nice, HAS TO have WiFi. good multimedia
what do you guy's have right now ? what are the hottest phones in the states right now ?

A blackberry Bold is nice, but it doesnt have touchscreen. Iphone is great too.

Would have recommended this one, but am unsure if you can take it 'round the world.
I have been using one of these for years...Like an 8x tape player you just can't beat the classics...

i just got this one from amazon as it was a good deal and i didn't want to get a 2 year contract extension with att and i didn't want them to charge me 20/30 bux extra a month for a required data plan.
it has wifi and a keyboard as i was tired of having to respond to texts with my no keyboard flip phone from 2007...
i popped the sim card in and it was good to go.

Can't beat the Iphone with any other phone. Period.
For what I use my cell phone for I just a simple one with no camera, no wifi, no touch tone. No need for no iphone for me but I do see how it would benefit some but for most of the friends I know that have it the got the iphone for the fun of it and don't use if for much more than what I use a cell phone for.
Damn bigzaks, no way I'm paying that much for a phone. I'm up for a new phone this month so I'll probably go with another simple one but I do want a keypad for texting.

I was at Sprint a week ago upgrading my daughter's phone and they told me that Sprint was coming out with the first 4G phone this summer that was going to blow the Iphone away?
My daughter wanted one of those touch screen phones and I told her noway I was going to pay extra just because of that.She got a Rumour.
There is only one real phone in the states. IPHONE FTW.
I still use and love my blackberry.
The HTC Evo 4G is going to be at least equal to, if not superior, to the iPhone in every conceivable way. The only real advantage the iPhone will have is a bigger app store, but I find there's a lot of crap to wade through with it.
The Evo 4G is going to have a larger screen, a kickstand, a more customizable user-interface (a huge difference), and it will feature the ability to be a wifi hotspot for up to 8 devices.
I have never seen a phone that could truly be called an "iPhone killer". This is the first. It's going to blow away any other phone on the market EXCEPT the new iPhone, and will probably be better than the latest darling from Cupertino.
I wouldn't recommend anything except the Evo right now. It's just freaking awesome. If you live in a 4G area for Sprint, there is no comparison, because 4G is going to blow past 3G. Streaming HD video? Yes please.

HTC EVO 4G doesn't have any close compe ors right now. However, for the OP, I wouldn't recommend it because it runs on CDMA not GSM, so no overseas usage.

I just moved to the iphone. I'm OK with 3G. I really don't need high speed HD video.
I have a T-Mobile My Touch 3g with the internet. T-Mobiles internet service sucks. Soooooooo Sloooooooooooooow it makes AOL dial up look fast. Can't wait to get out of my contract.
