I recorded that whole thing and watched laughing most of the time...the fact they brought back a lot of th old cast members made it even more special for her in a sort of tribute way...I loved her in the "Scared Straight" prison sketch...if you didn't think any of that was funny...then you're probably still in High School or just too damned young to appreciate real humor...
i saw the highlights afterward, but missed the digital short where they sing the golden girls theme to her...i'm sure it will pop up online sometime soon...

The best skit was when she talks to the kids with the inmate trying to scare them straight.

The Delicious Dish should have had Alec Baldwin as Pete Schweddy. That was always funny he was Pete Schweddy and brought his Schweddy balls and wieners to the show.
I didn't see the episode but judging from commercials and highlights on other shows it just looked like an old lady using a ton of cuss words in an attempt to be be hip. And I've never seen a guest rely on the cue cards so often. I've never found SNL funny whenever the guest can't even remember their own lines. That's why SNL <<<<<<<<<<<<<< Mad TV (though they both suck lately)
Mad TV doesn't suck right now because it's not on anymore. SNL does suck but that's because Seth Myers is the headwriter.

yeah saturday night live has sucked for like 10 years now. mad tv has always sucked
Closer to 15, at this point. It didn't get horrible right away, but the writing started to go downhill with the first season of the Will Ferrell cast and those ing cheerleader sketches. I was still in high school, so... 1995-ish? There was a big change in both writers and cast members at the time and the show just hasn't been as good since.
